Budapest Art.Fair + WAMP = Special Selection

WAMP in cooperation with SEED - Foundation for Development of Small Enterprises helps designers develop their own businesses by launching a joint training programme.
The training program will focus on improving their personal and professional enterpreneur skills.
WAMP’s mission is to help its member designers in managing their own businesses as well so to prepare them to face continuous challenges in global competition. The new initiative will support designers in administration, marketing and finance and how to improve manager skills

On 29th of September 2007, one of the most pleasant weekends of the Indian Summer we expected our WAMP-participants to an extraordinary place, to the Palace of Arts and Ludwig Museum.
The special programme “Lumu 10 to 10” and WAMP jointly organised a spacil day focusing on new women identity connected to the exhibition of Katarzyna Kozyra.

WAMP among the ARC-posters and the trees of the City Park
In the September of 2007, WAMP joined ARC billboard exhibition on its environmental friendly day. WAMP-purple turnes into green for one day. We set up our WAMP-stand in one of the corners of the wide space of ARC which though strongly related to the poster-exhibition where we presented our artists applying recycling in their art.

WAMP’s purple striped cow
In the September of 2007, WAMP presented five cows of the second Budapest Cow-parade. Our WAMP-cow was painted on the spot. Originally we intended to give it a pullulating lilac ornament with cluster motives which finally ended up in stripes of the shadows of purp. |

WAMP left Budapest for the first time little before its first birthday, between the 4th and 7th of July 2007: the WAMP-stand was set up in the Volt Festival. WAMP presented 15 artists on its stand and was selling their products for 4 days in the WAMP-Shop.

WAMP joined the farewell party of the Plasztik exhibition in the Museum of Ethnography. The final event called “plastic12” presented 12 hours of programmes such as performances, concerts and a design fair.
