Designer of the month in April: Balllon group

Starting from 2009 WAMP introduces a designer every month who we consider unique or outstanding at the design fair. The aim is also to introduce the person behind the design objects.
In April a group of five significant designers have been presented with the WAMP Designer of the Month Award. The designers behind Balllon offer a complete closet of clothes and accessories for all those that have a delicate taste for expressing individuality and playfulness.

Brand and Bio
Balllon group has established with collaboration of five designers in 2007 partly from WAMP’s connections.
The Balllon Showroom and Gallery in the Újlipótváros district of Budapest has a cosy little atmosphere, where the designers provide the chance to create a complete wardrobe for their customers. Their vision is to help them with all their professional and artistic skills to find the best fitting dresses and accessories. One of their basic policies is the direct relationship between the designers and the customers.

Ars poetica
Balllon is a community, where shape, color and cuts unite to represent noble elegance. Balllon lifts you above the everyday.

Besides works
„We are continuously working on our common collection when we develop the conception, besides everyone is working her on brands. The aim is the marketable value.”
Besides the common work few members of the group teach at the Vocational secondary school of visual arts, they work as costume designers and they give stylist advices.
