Marcipan cake and fashion-show: first birthday-party of WAMP (15.07.2007)

In the middle of July WAMP celebrated its first birthday twice: the party took place in Holdudvar with a concert and fashion-show and then 3 days later a special design fair was organised.

Despite the cold weather on 12th of July, a concert was given by Balkan Fanatik  In the fashion-show you could see the most characteristic designers of WAMP : Artista, Aquanauta, Balkan Tango, Bodza, Camou by Beatrix Fehér, Kriszta Marosi, PsyCat, Pazicski.

On Sunday another cake was cut on Erzsébet square and a design picknick gathered on the venue of the fair. Everyone could paint their own food picture out of small and colorful food while DJ Fine Cut Bodies played.

The first anniversary was a great opportunity to sum the first year: the number of visitors have grown from 30 to 100 in one year,  4-5 thousand regular visitors, community portal for artists, cooperation with similar events: ARC poster-exhibition, Plasztik Exhibition, Lakástrend and Design (Interior Design) Exhibition and the WAMP at the Volt Festival in Sopron. And the future with thousands of plans, of course.
