On the 27th and 28th of November, WAMP will be represented in Műcsarnok, at the most important modern and contemporary art fair of the year with a special selection.
This special WAMP selection will be just like a museum shop, at the stands, you will be able to find design objects all related to art.
For the stand of the Artmagazin, Nóra Winkler will put together a mini exhibition, where you will be able to find out how different design objects are connected to different art pieces. For example:
How is that possible that an umbrella is the mascot of the gallerists?
How does a delicate skirt rhyme with Várnai Gyula artist’s giant-installation?
How could a wine coaster resemble to Damien Hirst, the British artist, who sells his works for billions?

Kitchen Budapest (KIBU) and WAMP launched an open call for young Hungarian designers to participate in a workshop and develop new projects with tutors Anab Jain and Jon Arden designers and co-directors at Superflux. The workshop challenged the current role of designers to contribute to the competitiveness of objects and services and encouraged them to design new solutions that can be potentially create the basis of new economies. In the course of the workshop four projects were developed and one has been chosen to be shown at Tent London Design Festival. The winning idea came from Beata Csortan and Daniel Pifko.
